Yes, we provide on-site maintenance services at Oak Pointe Apartments.

No, you may give us permission to enter your unit.

Before you move in, we will ensure that your apartment is thoroughly prepared and ready for you. This includes cleaning, maintenance, any necessary repairs, and fresh paint. 

No, you do not need to be home for a service technician to perform work in your apartment. However, we do require your permission to enter in order to complete the necessary repairs or maintenance. Please let us know if you prefer a specific time for the work to be done or if there are any special instructions.

You are welcome to come to the office during business hours to pick up a copy of the key. If you need access after hours and we are available, we can meet you to open the door. However, please note that since this is not considered an emergency, if we are unavailable after hours, you will need to contact a locksmith at your own expense.  

Amenities

Yes, Oak Pointe Apartments is a pet-friendly community.

Yes, our community has a 50 lbs weight limit for dogs as well as certain breed restrictions. Please contact our community for more information.

No, we do not have a dog park at Oak Pointe Apartments.

No, we do not offer furnished apartments at Oak Pointe.

The pool at Oak Pointe Apartments is chlorine.

You are assigned one designated parking space. All other open spaces without numbered markings are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed.

We have a pool and laundry rooms available. Please visit our Amenities page for a full list of our community and apartment amenities.

The pool area is open from 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM.

All units come with energy efficient appliances, including a dishwasher, range, microwave, and refrigerator.

Administration

No, it does not cost anything to take a tour.

Both! We accept walk-ins and offer scheduled tours at our community.

You can apply online through the property website

Yes, residents of Oak Pointe Apartments are required to purchase renter's insurance.

Yes, we accept guarantors / co-signers at Oak Pointe Apartments.

Application takes up to 3 days to be approved after all documentation is provided. 

Pay by check, cashier check, money order or online through you rent café portal. 

You are welcome to use Comast, Directv or any other provider that will service this area.

Yes, we do have a lease break fee option. 

Before move in you will set up PGE for gas and electricty. We will set you up on Yes Energy which is water, sewage and trash. 

None, utilities are not included in rent.

Location

Yes, we are in close proximity to the AC transit and Bart.

We are located in the Fremont Unified School District.

I can provide the address, and you may use Google Maps or another map service to find it. Alternatively, if you let me know where you'll be coming from, I can email you directions.

For Future Residents

No, we do not allow subletting at Oak Pointe Apartments.

You can apply online. If you need any assistance, feel free to come by the office, and we’ll be happy to help you with the application process.

If you're not ready to apply for the apartment yet, that’s completely fine! You can take your time to think it over. In the meantime, we can add you to our waiting list, so you'll be notified if a unit becomes available that meets your needs. Please keep in mind that units do go quickly, so it's a good idea to stay in touch. If you have any questions or need further details about the apartment, feel free to reach out, and I'd be happy to assist you. 

We do run credit and reqire monthly income be at least 2.5 times the rent. 

Pay your rent on time and follow the community rules.

We do not offer furnished apartments.

We prefer appointments to ensure we can give you our full attention, but we do accept walk-ins as well. Feel free to stop by whenever it's convenient for you, and we'll be happy to assist you.

Yes, we do offer a resident referral bonus, please contact our administration for details. 

No, we do not offer discounts for signing a longer lease or paying in advance.

Renters Insurance Requirements
 
Provide an “Evidence of Insurance “page from your insurer. The document should include the following Information:
 
1.      Evidence of active status 
2.      Resident name(s)   
3.      Insured premises or dwelling location shall correctly reflect your future apartment complete address 
  including unit number.  
4.      Insurance company or agency name and contact information.   
5.      Policy term (dates of coverage).  
6.      Minimum Liability Coverage shall be $100,000.00 
7.      The property named as an Additional Interested Party and shown as such on the document.

The manager is available daily, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

This exact location is determined by which unit is rented.

This is dependent which unit is rented, whether the unit has undergone a remodel, ect.

The noise level can vary depending on the time of day and the activities of other residents. Generally, we strive to maintain a peaceful environment, and we have community guidelines in place to ensure quiet hours during the evening. However, as with any community, some level of noise may be expected. If you ever have concerns about noise, feel free to reach out, and we'll address them promptly.

No, there are no washer or dyrer hookups.

There are many local shopping areas around, such as Lucky's, Safeway and the mall. 

Yes, you may decorate the apartment as you'd like, as long as you restore it to its original condition when you move out. If you're unsure about any changes or decorations, feel free to check with the office to ensure they are okay.

Maintenance requests are typically handled within a day or on the scheduled date. We prioritize work based on urgency, with high-priority issues being addressed first, followed by lower-priority tasks.

Yes, energy bill, late fee if applies, and master renters insurance policy if you do not have renters insurance. 

Resident(s) is responsible for the conduct of his/her/their guests or invitees while they are on the Property as well as all household members (including minors). A Resident conducting any of the activities set forth hereinabove, or who allows his or her guests, invitees or household members (including minors) to conduct any of said activities shall be deemed in violation of this Agreement and said activity shall be grounds for termination of this Agreement with a three-day notice to quit. We do not allow listing on Airbnb.

Yes, we are pet friendly:  
•    We allow indoor cats and *dogs. Maximum of two pets per apartment: 2 cats, or 1 dog and 1 cat.
•    Dog allowed with an additional $500 deposit.
o    $50 pet rent per month
•    Cats allowed with an additional $400 deposit. 
o    $30 pet rent per month

*Weight limit of 50 lbs. and breed restrictions apply 
 

All parties are held equally responable for rent. 

You can submit a work order by calling the office, emailing, or entering it through the Rent Café portal. Maintenance requests are typically handled within a day or on the scheduled date. We prioritize work based on urgency, addressing high-priority issues first, followed by lower-priority tasks.

We require a 30-day notice prior to moving out. Additionally, if you decide to break your lease, a lease break fee equal to one month's rent will apply.

At the time of signing the lease, you will need to pay the any additional security deposit if applys, the first full month’s rent, and any outstanding application fees if they haven't already been collected.

Rent Café is your online portal where you can log in to apply for rent, pay your rent, view your ledger, and submit maintenance requests. It's a convenient way to manage all aspects of your rental account.
